Background
The Blair Witch has been a legend oyt there for a long time now. It goes back in time to The Revolutionary War back when The United States and England were at war. They say all this talk about the unknown mysterious legend of the Blair Witch started near some woods called back in the time the Black Hills Forest in the state of Maryland. The Blair Witch got it name after the town that is present called Burkittesville that back in the day it was named the ill-fated town of blair back in the year of 1634. It all started with this women named Elly Kedward. In the year of 1785, several children from this small town accused Kedward of forcing them into her home to draw blood from them, when others found out they reacted in a angry way. Later on after everyone being almost positive that she was involved in witch crafting people decided to take her down. "According to Urban, Kedward is found guilty of witchcrafting, banish from the village during a particularly winter and presumed death". After a few years passed by they say her spirit came back to resume revenge to all the people from the town of Burkittesville. “According to The Blair Witch, fearing a curse, the entire township fled as soon as the weather broke, and had vowed never to utter the name Elly Kedward again.This lady that was accused of witch crafting is known as the Blair Witch.
